There were oceans on all sides, vast and alluring. I had to choose one to dive deep. Every fascination I have had since childhood, right from the working of everyday gadgets, to graphics in movies and the working of robots, has its roots in the vast field of Computer Science. The breathtaking view of the ocean of Computer Science, stretching farther than the rest, filled with exciting challenges in the form of twists and turns, appealed much more than the rest, and I was drawn towards it.
I am a graduate student in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. I did my undergraduate degree in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India. My academic projects and graduate coursework helped me gain significant knowledge in Software Development. I always have an interest in learning and working on new and emerging technologies.

Assisted in developing a portal to handle the customer service reports of the Software Delivery Team. The portal was developed in Drupal with the help of PHP and MySQL
Designed a system to detect any accidental fall in human beings and alert emergency care. The system can be very helpful in old age homes and hospitals where any accidental fall can be detected without any delay and prompt medical care could be provided.
The live feed from IP cameras is taken for extraction of humans from the video and it is continuously monitored for the moving objects.
A bounding box is defined over the moving body and it is checked for huge variations in the aspect ratio of the box and the fall angle. Sudden variations help us to classify it as an accidental fall.
Worked on creating a content management system to edit, modify and publish content with a central interface for maintenance.
Ruby on RailsDeveloped a Web application to manage the company database and also implemented dynamic access control techniques using the custom tag library feature.
Struts Framework, MySQLDesigned and implemented a Mobile IP Protocol to solve the problem of routing and tunneling packets to the mobile host. This was achieved by proper registration of the mobile and forwarding the packets accordingly.
